This is, most definitely good news! How the market responds to it will be revealed over the next couple of days. Not to be negative (I'm long MCF) but I hope the run up from $5.15/share wasn't based on leakage of this contract. In any case, Microforum's ability to secure such a prestigious contract, and the fact that Ford is most definitely favouring them: - <cite>In addition, PPL Marketing was recently awarded Ford's Marketing Excellence Award for 1998. This award recognizes PPL Marketing Services as a consistent supplier of excellence in service and execution to the Ford Motor Co.'s 1998 marketing programs. The award is based on a selection of projects that PPL worked on throughout the year. Microforum's PPL Marketing has won this prestigious annual award on seven other occasions. - </cite> is a good indication that we will probably (IMO) see more contracts between these two companies in the near future. As well, this will give Microforum a better position to spearhead other U.S. deals. BTW, didn't Ford just recently announce that they're expecting to out produce GM by the year 2005?
