wow...just caught up.

What company would want to come into a shell that can never hold much more that .50 + the cost of the warrants?

The warrants will be history in Aug '01 and any company coming in would know that. In a "real company comes into the shell, I don't believe that long term shareholders will be that adversly affected by arbitrage just the (shortterm and day) traders.

A real company would have to come in, clean up the MIDL reputation, develop their own, prove themselves to investors by developing their trust and then show earnings and growth potential way before the price will ever get to the point where W will be able to get exercised at $1-$5. Raising the strike price would be like raising taxes. You'll collect more, but from less people. That pretty much would make them worthless. And then, without trading W's, we would be expecting the W (100k) holders to have $50k-$250k stuffed in their mattress to covert or lose out.

Its funny, but you can tell who own the W (and who doesn't) by their posts. This debate has come to the have (W's) and the have nots...

btw - can y'all tell I own some W's?
