Steven, From the conference call: the MOT-SUNW announcement involves development of a wireless IP based infrastructure involving three tiers: base stations, controllers and back end application servers. This system is designed to replace the traditional switched network while providing the same level of reliability. The new IP based base stations will support air interfaces such as W-CDMA and CDMA 2000 for communicating with end user devices like Qualcomm cell phones. John
