You were reading my mind re. VUSA. I meant to comment on its great burst. KOOP is also having a good 2nd day pop, but Briefing was pretty dismissive. Notice how the market seems to thumb its nose at least short term, at Briefing's critical--and usually dead-on--analyses of these "concept" IPO's?

The biggest problem I've noticed with my concentrating on 1 or a few cos. at a time has not been that I lose a lot (since I'm controlling my downsides) but that I tend to get fixated on the decision process loop real time (let it run a little more, sell, no, it'll come back, no, yeah, rats... You get the picture) and miss good opportunities on other happenings--like VUSA's run.

Still, life is good, and, although I don't monitor as closely as you--after all this IS your job--my record this year is VERY good.

BTW, you are quite right re. your overall approach and managing risk to meet your financial goals.

For all of my aggressiveness with my trading account, my 401k is very conservative (embarassingly so)--my own yin/yang or the Gemini in me, I guess. I plan to retire within the next two years--actually you might say change careers--concentrating on the things I love to do. What do in my trading account is just going to determine whether I travel by buggy or Bugatti. I'll get there just the same--enjoying myself along the way and either way.
