RESEARCH ALERT - CSFB raises Brent crude forecasts

LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston said on
Wednesday it raised its 1999 average Brent crude oil price forecast
to $14.95 per barrel from $14.45, and its 2000 forecast to $16.25
per barrel from $16.00.

CSFB said the raise was due to the oil price reverting to a mean
between $16 and $17 per barrel faster than expected.

The investment bank also repeated its "buy" recommendations on oil
companies Shell Transport and Trading Co Plc/Royal Dutch Petroleum
<SHEL.L> <RD.AS> and ELF Aquitaine <ELFP.PA>.

No futher details were immediately available.

RIG

I was pleasantly surprised today as well, was expecting the worst so far so good. I did sell half of my shares at 24 1/4 owned way too much for my portfolio and am now comfortable with holding the remainder for longer term. That damn API can be a bugger sometimes :-).
