Great- selling Furby's is their turnaround plan?

It is interesting that Staples and CPU continue to not comment on the takeover rules. However, I believe, if it was going to happen, it would have happened by now (this has been a 3 month rumor). As the article pointed out, CPU is at 1/4 of its value in early 98. I don't think management would sell out for $12 a shares which is only a third of what it was trading at 1 1/2 years ago. They will try to get it to those levels themselves.

I believe the stock will rise on it's own merits.

PMFJI, but the pressures of virtual competitors isn't exactly a newsflash to _any_ CPU shareholder. Much of the reason CPU stock has been in the dumps is BECAUSE of computer hardware sales over the internet. This pressure, IMO, is already *heavily* accounted for in the stock price--in fact, CPU has been beaten down too much because of it.

lets be honest

Nobody posts countless negative posts without any financial interest.
There is no question that you wish to see CompUSA fail
and profit from it, But the CEO, and management are a bit smarter then you. After all they built this company. what have you built?

My initial purchase was at 7 1/4 and I am enjoying the nice rise.

Good luck.
