Mohan; Deutsch Telecom has lost the monopoly over the phone systems and many opportunities exist that allow dialing a number prior to the number that you want to reach, which I take it is actually leased lines from DT. This in turn is much cheaper than using DT. However until the phone costs for local calls are such as in the States, I believe the Internet has it's hands tied here in Europe.
