RE:PR/DELL-DELL has and I guess trys to be cool/substantive not flash/sizzle/hollywood-BUT they acted "out of style" when they split the stock the last time to throw a bone to the investors-- to cover-up the puny quarter-THAT split was a damn poor idea IMHO.wbm

OT OT Re: Dr. Koop

I had to listen to the Frank Zappa song "Promiscuous" the other day after the drkoop.com IPO. To wit:

"The Surgeon General, Dr. Koop
Is s'sposed to give you all the poop
But when he's with P.M.R.C.
The poop he's scoopin' amazes me

C-Span showed him, all dressed up
In his phony Dr. God get-up
He looked in the camera and fixed his specs
And gave a fascinatin' lecture 'bout anal sex..."

Come to think of it, Greenspan would look good in a little uniform with the shoulder dust mops and medals all over his chest (including the coveted Royal Order of Inflation Fighters/Fear Mongers). CNBC could replace the "briefcase indicator" with the "medallion market mover".

Yours in speculative excess,
C Nelson

Dunno if you can have jerked chicken instead of chopped liver. Take a break, including peepee break with the usual union break.<g>
