Perhaps I should have said, that what is known to be truth is oftentimes relative.

However by the definition you supplied <<A true thing; a verified fact;>> any religion can not be stated to be the truth. It can only be
believed to be true, which is always relative.

Also, another problem with that definition------
<as, the great truths of morals.> Morality is always relative. What is considered moral now is not the same as what was considered moral in the past, and will not be the same as what is considered moral in the future.
