I tithe and support various ministries. I believe when we sow into the kingdom we can expect a harvest. I try to follow the Spirit in every decision of my life. Why should there be any decision making process that I leave Him out of? He knows all and sees all. The Word says that He will show us things to come. He blesses the work of our hands. I'm blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed in my kneading trough and my basket.
The Spirit led me into a business when I asked Him for it. He has promised to give me Wisdom "liberally and without upbraiding" and He did not add "except when you pick stocks to buy." So I just try to live my life in union with Him and draw continually on His wisdom and His resources. The Word says, "You have not because you ask not, or you ask and do not receive because you ask amiss in order to spend it on your lust." I think the tithing and giving takes care of the lust part. If you're lusting to accumulate for yourself and not share it or sow it into the kingdom, then you probably won't be able to receive from God (because your conscience condemns you).

But if you're obedient to give, I don't see any reason why God wouldn't give you wisdom on what stocks to buy in order to prosper you and His kingdom. God gives us the power to get wealth that we may establish His covenant on the earth. And He is - after all - the greatest stock picker in the universe.
