Strange; well although she doesn't have them anymore, my wife can vote her 1000, and I still have my 2500, let's see if Ariad waters that trifling amount down even more with yet another convertible. No, I don't really think our shares mean anything, it's nice that there are discussion forums and all to banter about stocks, but middle class individual investors are down here in the muck--our concerns are just noise that is just filtered out by management. And really who would want the grief of feeling guilty-- note that Steve Push disappeared off the GLGC board, I would not want that job. Let's see...what is up for vote? The election of several directors, approve the issuance of "more than 4,385,500 shares of common stock upon conversion of, or as dividends on, its series C convertible preferred stock", yeah, I know all about that and have learned my lesson...well that is pretty much it. I think I'll skip this one. No, it's time to just throw in the towel and try and talk this one down even lower through September... "...we may be required during the month of September 1999 to sell additional shares of series C preferred stock at the then current market price and then applicable conversion prices to the original purchasers of series C preferred stock" At that time I can double down around a buck, maybe even a tad lower if everybody freaks out about a delisting...and then I'll stop using words like 'whore' and 'dilution' to nice descriptions like 'nobel laureat science, 'elegant solution', and...well...'bargain'. Hey, if this one get's to a buck, maybe I'll triple down, I'll just gush if I can get this one for a buck--it'll be like all the other nanocaps I own that are breaking my heart{;-)} I'll hang on to my measly 2500 shares, and my 40k+ warrants til that time (hey most of them only cost me 3/32, why not--this whole thing could be a scam, then poof, ARGENT is sold off for 200M, stranger things have happened. In September the whole market will be tanking anyway, only my gold fund will be going up. At that time I'll double down on the ARIA common.
