The lack of probable cause may keep the detectives from getting a subpoena in a criminal investigation, but that has nothing to do with the threshold for getting a subpoena in a civil matter, which is relevance. If you want to pursue the matter pro se, I could coach you on the steps. But you'll have to PM me at least the state you live in, so I can make an educated guess as to what, if any, cause of action you have there.

Interesting that the person who made the calls is "you." I would make a list of all the people it could be, in my household the number is quite small.
