Hi Frank. The following is the article about the SR award. They did only receive one of many awards handed out. The category they won, per the Supercomm article below is "Optical Network Environment". Still seems pretty impressive to an outsider like me.

SUPERQuest Award Winners Announced

SUPERCOMM '99 announced its second annual SUPERQuest awards this week.
The awards recognize outstanding achievements in the implementation of network technology.

The awards showcase implementations of public and private network solutions and the key product/technology in those solutions that have advanced the customers business.
