you need to take responsibility for your stupidity (of which you appear to have an abundance -ng-)

Now tell us how you really feel about him, GoofBong. He, he he.

The DUNG certainly seems like it wants to do its summer thing and go up to new highs. I wonder how high the semi hype will take things?

BushMan just did another solo skydive from 12 5. Good he is having fun. Bet the Secret Service guys were pissing in their pants, though.

O.K. LT, I tire of this. Since it appears as if neither one of us is going to back off...causing these kind of messages to go on forever...let me attempt to end it here.

First the facts:

1. You were becoming cautious in March/April 98.
2. Then went wildly bearish in May or so.
3. I continued to question your opinions and asked for supporting evidence throughout.
4. You finally came out with a detailed analysis that swayed me.
5. I began pulling out of the market in May.
6. I began to go short on your recs and made a mint...not to mention what I saved being out long.
7. The market did a double bottom in October and you continued your doomsday predictions.
8. The market started to recover...and recover violently...I lost most of what I gained by going short in the first place.
9. I began to question your stubborn bearish position...but you held firm. After a time you became irritated with my questions and began this current attack pattern.
10. I finally figured out that there are two sides to every timing move. With your help (with a lot of recognition to you on my behalf), I executed the first decision well. The second decision (when you get back long) I failed.
11. Saw the error of my ways and corrected myself. I went long.
12. You have continued to remain bearish...continuing to make prediction of doom within weeks.
13. Weeks had turned into months, yet your predictions continued.

14. You have lost out one of the best market rallies in history.
15. I lost a lot of money trying to time the market.

LT, hats off to you if you have been making money on the short side the past 8 months. Only you know the truth to that. But your continual doomsday predictions have been wrong for so long your credibility is wanting for those of us who have read your posts for the past 2 years.

That said, I hope you do well in the market, whatever your strategy.

As for myself, I'm saying long. And yes, QCOM is part of that because they have an international franchise on the same level a MSFT and INTC. And it is just beginning. I have no intention of playing the unpredictable corrections.

In 10-15 years things will be very happy in my portfolio...and I hope the same for you.

Enough.
