I2: Re: "However, some of the bond traders indicate that some are starting to worry about the Fed increasing by 0.5%."

Let them worry all they want. They are wrong. Greenspan is a gradualist as Brinker has said. Look at last fall. Even in a panic situation he moved a .25 point at a time. It is a .25 or nothing but the market is looking -- almost begging at this point -- for .25. Moreover, the Green man knows that .50 would throw foreign markets -- read emerging markets -- into a new death spiral. Not a chance.

Note the Fed. talk in the public with Poole and such. It is as I posted before. The real issue is whether the Fed. is till preemptive like in 1994 or have they modified their view and to what extent. The Fed. Governors are staking out their positions in the open market. I would love to be a fly on the wall at the next meeting.
