Regarding the regulatory and legal maneuvering surrounding access to AT&Ts future broadband infrastructure, it seems strange to me that so much attention is focused on this issue, but, in contrast, PBS ran an interesting documentary about how the interlocking megamedia firms literally suppressed any coverage of or consideration on the Hill of auction for the digital television spectrum, such that they got this valuable asset for free - which spectrum should've fetched the public coffers a very cool estimated US$70B; it was described as the biggest giveaway of the century. Strange world. George
