Was there a point to this??? Glenn, JMHO, making $1M is equally difficult as losing $1.4M in any single year for an average investor; so obviously you are not an average investor. Which one is talent and which is luck? Jan, There was no talent involved. I was "stupid" by being so stubborn and not cutting losses on my short. I was lucky on my long. The last thing I deserve is some sort of credit for being smart. I understand your comment. If I had not been lucky, I would have been really broke:-) Now if i could just do what you do so well with predicting swings. You are not lucky. You have talent. Glenn
