Being skeptic is good! Stock options were granted to workers.
DELL management and business model is still beyond what most
traditional companies do . I was surprised like you and I expect
DELL to de better way better then other company that penetrated
the Chinese market. I have great confidence in them ...
The market sometimes does not see clearly the values ready to explode.

ed:Dell doesn't have a partner in China as far as I know, they have couple of hundred employees there at the moment and they are all entitled to the stock if I am not mistaken (I think couple of hundred shares). There was an article in Austin Statesman about it a while ago,I posted it here then, now I can't seem to find it.Oh the land is leased for 99 years or something from the City so I guess you can say they are in partnership with the the city of Xiamen.

Recently Dell also opened an 100% subsidiary in India no partner there either, they don't have a manufacturing facility there yet.
