No awesome system. Every trader needs to know himself (herself) and only take risks they feel okay with. Since I often trade lower priced stocks I never pay the ask when going long. Best case is buy at the bid and worst case split bid/ask. Then all one needs is an uptick or two to offer out at the ask and the 1/8 or 3/16 is there. I find it best to trade stocks that I "know", where support/resistance is and not force trades. Patience is the key when trading such stocks as you're not going to be in and out in seconds or minutes.
