Jing, I agree with your estimates. But that is for US alone.

ATHM will get subscribers in Europe, Australia, Japan, etc.

In Europe where per minute charges on dial up services are still the norm, @home will provide not only a FAST alternative to dial up internet service providers, but much cheaper access. YES CHEAPER!!

I am not sure about Australia or Japan. But if the phone companies there still use per minute charges, the ATHM benefit will be the same as in Europe.

Jing,

Interseting article on the "whole media"
experience. Talks about how the lines
delimiting different media types are
coming down. TV, web, radio move towards
each other to form a new type of experience.

I didn't read it line-by-line and pick it
apart. Anyone who's got a take on this let me
know if you see this as too fluffy, warmed
over hype or foreshadowing. Comments are
encouraged.
