Dear Sandra; You are looking at things a bit simplistically. I go to school with many brothers and sisters that live in Africa. The problems of poverty and being homeless are caused by sinful politics and corruption. These people are beautiful children of God that understand His love and grace better than I do. You need to realize that the majority of Christians as well as others live in material poverty. Perhaps you have been watching to many TV evangelists. The Messiah Yeshua is busy working to save and to help these people. As His body, we are only doing our part if we are where he is, feeding the poor, preaching the gospel and helping in his missionary work. I pray Lord to use your blessings as you would, sacraficially to help those in need. Thank you that I am not so comfortable as to forget that the world is hurting and in desperate need of you.
