Triangle Broadcasting Company Inc. Answers Most Frequently Asked Questions About BingoTelevision

June 11, 1999 03:47 PM
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 1999--Triangle Broadcasting Company Inc. GAAY Executive Vice President Dick Weiner announced today that Triangle has received thousands of telephone calls and emails requesting information on how to play the upcoming Palm Springs Studios game, BingoTelevision. We are going to attempt to answer the most frequently asked questions.

1. How can I watch BingoTelevision?

BingoTelevision will be made available to local TV stations and

cable companies. The three hour daily broadcast will consist of 6

half-hour games each day, Monday through Friday, and will be seen

in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Internet users can access and play the games on our new Web site,

BingoTelevision.com, now under construction. Practice play will

begin on this site on July 1.

2. How do we receive the bingo cards?

Bingo cards will be distributed free at designated local

supermarkets and fast food restaurants. You can also download the

bingo cards from our BingoTelevision Internet site. The cards are

valid for one week and each week the individually numbered cards

will be identified by a different color.

3. How do I know if I'm a winner and how do I verify this?

The bingo cards will be printed by a computer system similar to

the ones used by State Lotteries. If you believe you've won, you

should call one of the regional 800 numbers and read the

identification number on your bingo card. If you are a winner,

the computer will verify it.

4. Does it cost money to play BingoTelevison?

The bingo cards are free and the game is also free.

BingoTelevision is paid for by national and local sponsors and

they will supply all cash and prizes.

5. What are the prizes?

During each game you will be able to win up to $10,000 in cash

and prizes to be announced during the show.

6. How often will BingoTelevision be on TV?

BingoTelevision will broadcast live three hours a day, Monday

through Friday.

7. Where does BingoTelevision originate?

BingoTelevision will originate from our beautiful studios in Palm

Springs, Calif., but occasionally the program will travel to

local television markets.

8. Will you have a studio audience and will they participate in BingoTelevision?

Yes, we will have a studio audience and they will play along with

the TV audience.

9. Can there be more than one winner?

The first person to call with the winning number will receive the

cash award and thereafter winners will receive the secondary

prizes.

10. Is the program still on schedule?

Yes, practice play will begin on our Internet site July 1, 1999

and the first broadcast will be Aug. 2, 1999.

Next week we will try to answer the most frequently asked

questions about our upcoming auction show, AUCTIONSTELEVISION, so

please look for that press release.
