To thread: I am new to SI and bullish on AOL. Long since '96 and added more this week. I look forward to conversing with you guys.

My take: If it's AOL's broadband strategy that has people worried, fine. This is a worry that will be overcome. Case has navigated AOL through these types of worries in the past. First, it was their expensive pricing model. AOL went to the unlimited plan. Then, it was busy signals/bad service. AOL spent hundreds of millions to upgrade the system. Then, it was the internet itself. AOL embraced and promoted the net. I just believe that Case, who was a real visionary in this field, is not rolling over and giving up just because ATT bought a few cable co's. My money is betting that he is working on a great plan. Guess we'll see.

The real problem with AOL's stock price is that internets have had a severe correction. Might take a little time, but I imagine we'll see the highs again.
