bemore / Howard,
You got my curiosity going so I found the, "reporter's statement," to double check. I pasted it below. It can be interpreted in many ways. Notice Larry didn't appear to say, "earnings." He apparently said, "earnings report."

From my first read through, I thought Larry Ellison was planning to say something about the future potential of "i" products. But, as you can see, the statement can be interpreted different ways.

I can't tell what it means.

He also said Oracle's upcoming earnings report will make Oracle "the hottest company in town," but declined to give details because the company is in a prereporting "quiet period."
