Good Yahoo Post (from a good man)>

What happened to 4.096 Mcps?? Remember the whole QCOM is trying to degrade the performance of 3G
by demanding the 3.684Mcps rheotric??? Remember QCOM/I.J. issued a press release stating that 4.096
would not really work in the given spectrum? Everyone accused QCOM of not really understanding
WCDMA, after all, "QCOM nothing of value".. Now it looks like 3.84Mcps is really not a "compromise"
after all. I wonder what other "lies" QCOM stated about WCDMA, may come to pass.. i.e. asynchronous
and synchronous operation.. However, I notice that the Direct Sequence mode (3.84 Mcps) will support
BOTH asynchronous and synchronous operation. Maybe I have been asleep, but supporting synchronous
operation also seems like a 180 degree turn of events. So was QCOM really "telling fables" all along.. Or
was there some truth to their thesis?? By the way.. I like my Sprint PCS 500 minutes ANYTIME to
anywhere in the US, inclusive of LD charges, for US$50/ No Contract.
