DRat: As positive as the Joe T. news is, I didn't expect it to cause more than a ripple at this point. Without direct context, the value of JT is an unknown quantity to the average investor - and should be. His value to the company is 100% tied to FNTN's future.
JT is but a piece of the puzzle - and the investment community does not yet know about the existence of the FNTN yet alone the puzzle - not until they're reporting.
Once FNTN is reporting and on the investment community radar, the ad campaign will commence and the true value of Mr. Theismann will quickly loom large.
As for what it will take to move the stock, I still believe that nothing short of being close to reporting will move the stock significantly. I say "being close" because smart money will begin to buy in before reporting is finalized. In fact, I won't be surprised if the stock jumps by a higher percentage before the announcement than right after it. How often do we get to take full advantage of news AFTER it is released? By the time we read about it the price is already inflated.
We have passed the point where FNTN's price is affected by a flock of birds flying by, and frankly, that's a lot better for the average investor. In the end, substance always wins over style - and we're too close to seeing substantive changes in FNTN to get excited over anything less.
Regards,
Wally
