3Com and two of its chip partners, ADI and TI, license their DMT technology from Aware Inc. Lucent also has licensed Aware's DMT technology. Alcatel has its own DMT technology, which has been licensed to AMD, Integrated Telecom Express, and other DSL-chip makers.
