LG: Dell's Vice-Chair (I think that was who) was rah-rahing today. Maybe someone didn't believe it. I read some notes on the CBS Marketwatch headline site.

LG, i just read the cycles/wave count article to which scotty posted the link earlier. if this view is correct - and it seems well thought out- we'll see a 4,000 point mini-crash before july is over. while i personally assign little probability to this actually happening at the moment, it is definitely in the realm of the possible. according to the article the low of this expected decline should be an excellent buying opportunity. if this were to happen, the rebound in the long bond that we are waiting for would be due to safe haven buying. an interesting summer awaits...

regards,

hb

To All: I have received an Email inquiry from a non-SI member, who like many regularly lurk the MDA thread. He has joined us at each MDA Web Site Chat Event, which are open to all, members and non-members alike.

If possible, could you comment on the formation which began yesterday at 14:00 on the 10-minute chart for both SPX.X & OEX.X on the MDA thread.

Thank you very much.

NM-Barry@Coppell

Barry: I took a look at the OEX. It is clearly a bullish formation. Normally called a bullish pennant/triangle. It is even clearer when viewed using the 5-min chart. I will post this chart as my “featured index chart” on my chart page tonight.

All additional interpretations to Barry's inquiry are welcome...

Regards,
LG

I was watching Dell on Level 2 legging into a short. I was frothing when I saw it hit 35 3/4. The sellers seemed a bit frenzied there, don't you think <G>?

Take a look at SUNW. Triangle breakout?

LG,

Anyone else keeping an eye on DELL today

I've been keeping a VERY close eye on it. Today the internals improved greatly but have still not gone positive. Not near as much trading between the bid and ask today. That suggests whether buying or selling, everyone's paying full price. We'll see what happens, it's due for a pop to 43 (at which point I'll short it, again)...
