Well, I decided to get pushy today. I drove up to my broker's office in Portland and had a talk with them about my Medinah Gold shares. I explained the situation that KMT outlined in his posts yesterday. It seemed to help. I placed my request for the MG certs a week ago and nothing had happened yet, but after talking with the branch manager at Waterhouse today, he told me he would see to it that the request went out to the TA today, and that he would personally follow up on it. So, I guess you can get full service from a discount broker if you go after it! --Coz

BTW... The way I understand this squeezy thing now, since the shorts chose to pass up the opportunity to cover before the dividend was issued, the squeeze now is about the Medinah Gold shares. I'm sure it would be helpful if we all had our MDHM shares registered, but I know many have said there would be tax consequences if they removed them from their retirement account. So, I would think, if nothing else, concentrate on getting your Medinah Gold shares delivered. I don't know how this will effect retirement accounts since my broker shows the current value as zero, but beyond that issue, these shares are 144 restricted shares. I am told that the restriction cannot be lifted until after the shareholders name is typed on the certificate by the TA. This would mean that you need to get these shares registered before you can trade them.
