That's a wholly different question. Adoption, it seems to me, will follow the pattern we've seen before: the market will pick what it likes, if it can. That's why I tend to natter on about standards, royalties, and monopolies: the market likes the first two, but Intel is trying to exercise its market power against them. The technical details are less important than deciding whether this is Intel/PCI vs VESA local bus, or burst EDO vs SDRAM. -mb
