Actually, he gave me Ten's version of the technical details. So I gave him my criticism of Ten's version, the important part of which was that there is always an alternative. I mention ethernet and Beta here #reply-10047037, as the technically superior solution is not usually the winner. Jeez, look at market gorilla IA-32; who at its inception could have described it as superior to RISC? All that said, I never said Rambus was doomed; I just think there is a disconnect between its prospects, future uncertainties, and its stock price.
