After two unsuccessful attempts to request Medinah Gold shares from ETRADE via email (I received polite, but evasive responses), I called ETRADE this evening and demanded my dividend. When I explained to the service rep that it was my opinion that the shares could not technically exist in my electronic account because of their non-trading status, he actually agreed that the shares could only exist in a certificate with the names of my wife and myself on it. He agreed to process pursuit of this certificate while indicating it should take between 2 to 3 weeks. Because the rep knew nothing of the somewhat unique situation that apparently exists with this company, he was probably just giving me an ignorant yet polite answer.
