I think that's where we really differ: I will accept inferior technology as long as it does the job; at home I browse the web on a 486 laptop, since it works fine, fits comfortably on my lap on the couch, and cost me no dollars (corporate castoff). -mb

bgr, you don't prove anything through personal anecdotal evidence. you are the vast, vast minority. most people won't pay up for a small benefit. why do you think the cheap pc is flourishing while better, faster computers go unsold?

some sell - to folks like you. true. but, that doesn't cut it.

basic economics.

cost vs benefit.
