The fact that I didn't know you were a lawyer says it all right there. Why can't they all be like you? In my view almost every post on SI represents someone's opinion and in the name of free speech we should be able to say what we want as long as it remains within the SI guidelines (I mean the stock threads have to remain on-topic, no spam etc). The only thing that could be legally questionable is if someone posts a contrived press release or something like that thing that happened with Pairgain a while ago.

Personally I think most of these legal "notices" are just immaturity on the part of the people making them, like that guy on the qcom thread, I said something he didn't want to hear, therefore he looks into the specific terminology I used for some legal angle - give me a break, and grow up!
