I really enjoyed my quantum classes; after all, it's just math. I think your thumbnail probability sketch is good, but for volatility purchasers (puts/calls), I'll add a wrinkle. Volatility usually is associated with great disagreements by market participants. RMBS's prospects require so many assumptions, none of whose likely are right, that vol is almost built in, since the only thing moving this thing for the near future is sentiment. Another IBM soap opera, and poof! -mb
