Chip yield management systems designer KLA-Tencor (Nasdaq:KLAC - news) rose $5 1/4 to $54 11/16, wafer fabrication systems maker Applied Materials (Nasdaq:AMAT - news) gained $3 to $64 13/16, factory automation systems firm PRI Automation (Nasdaq:PRIA - news) picked up $5 9/16 to $33 5/8, and thin film deposition systems maker Novellus Systems (Nasdaq:NVLS - news) added $4 to $60 1/16...
