Hi Henry, The best wafers have shown test yields of more than 60%, representing about 145% of the total possible die from a 200-mm wafer, he said. Since the theoretical yield imrpovement for a 12" vs. 8" is +225%, what this publicist failed to point out was that there is a lot of room for improvement on the yields. But, hey, publicists and sales and marketing types never have to deal with engineering facts... And just what did he mean by "the best wafers", Hmmm..... Ry
