Lap Power also plans to implement future Voodoo cards as standard into these Whisper V series computers.
Lap Power's Chief Executive Officer, Anders Jonsson, commented on the agreement: "We are delighted to be a partner of 3Dfx and the combined strengths of two strong partners will create very exciting prospects for both companies in the Scandinavian markets."
For 3dfx, European marketing manager Marianne Herber said, "3dfx considers the European market to be a vitally important part of our worldwide strategy and to be able to announce a deal like this in the fast-growing Scandinavian market is fantastic for us. As the leading Swedish PC seller, Lap Power is an ideal partner for 3dfx and we are really looking forward to working with them long into the future."
