"Televangelist Robert Tilton, 52, has sold his Word of Faith church to the city of Farmers Branch, Texas, for $6.1 million. The suburban Dallas community plans to convert the 13-acre property into a convention center. Tilton also has settled a million-dollar fraud lawsuit filed by his first wife, Marte, in 1996. Tilton, who now lives in Florida, is still on Black Entertainment Television weekday mornings." Christianity Today June 14th 1999 Issue I read the above article today.
