Suggestion from a Lurker.
If it's not too late already why don't you guys nominate an outside Director with a mandate to keep the shareholders better informed??
Vaughn would be ideal IMHO but may not be available.

You may not be able to get somebody elected, but then again you might be surprised, and anyway you might get management's attention.
