MSFT is headed to 110 folks. Institutions are realizing
the potential of 25 Million offie2000 license or about
5 Billion in office 2000 revenues that Microsoft has to
account this Q. Even if some of it is deferred, still there
will be lot of revenues this Q. If you considered the revenues
and EPS this Q factoring in deferral, it will be HUGE.

Catcher, Maybe it will get small business involved more. See my earlier link to the interview of the Office2k product manager. I caught a small part of it (it should be available as a replay this evening) An analyst from a small firm was quoted as saying that it would be bigger than Office97. The Office2k product manager seemed to agree. The emphasis was on small business I believe.
If anyone heard the whole thing, I would be interested in getting a summary.

[are you saying office 2000 is going to fuel signif business use
of intranets / internet?]

I'm suggesting the reverse. Businesses already wants to expand their intranets and Office2000 is a valuable tool as that becomes reality.
