Since no one answered your question, I'll give it a shot. I seem to remember that the stock moved down to around 33 before the quarters earnings were released. When the earnings *were* released, although the numbers were met, it became apparent that without the sale of some assets (I believe in Asia, but I could be wrong), the earnings would have been WAY off. Since this was a one time shot, it's not something you can count on as income for future quarters, and the street did not take kindly. ORCL dropped down to the 27 range over the next couple of days.
