pomp,

...and I even read some posts from last January when I want to get some balance in my life.

You need a little more balance? Take a look at the Ask Michael Burke thread from this morning on.

Subject 6780

MileHigh and bp went over there and debated RMBS issues with the thread.

Very interesting debate. Wish I had the time to participate but my brain does not multi-task too well when the market is open.

Regards,

Jim

>> He is totally upfront<<
pomp,
thanks for that comment...i try to be.

this is the ultimate disclaimer post. every word of this is true to the best of my knowledge just like every other post i have ever made.

i get 95% of my general info from internet news sources.
i get some info from a silicon valley marketing consultant.
i get some info from an ibm ee phd.
i get some info from two silicon valley corporate attorneys.
i get some info from an intel ee phd.
i get some info from a retired chip designer who is well connected.
i get some info from rmbs ir.
i get some info from rmbs annual report and current sec filings.
i have never spoken to tom warren.
stuart steele is pi??ed off at me.
i have never spoken to a rmbs officer except at the shareholders' meeting.
lately, i have regular phone conversations and or e-mails with about 9 thread members.
i have some other sources that i am not divulging...period.
with the exception of a coupla very old friends all of these folks were strangers to me a year ago.
if you see your picture above please smile!
no one has ever paid me, bought me a drink, or sent me a gift because of my rmbs posts.
i have an ulterior motive. i am trying to buy a new fishing boat. if you look back in my posts to last year you will see that i said that then.
you would not believe the crappy pm's and e-mails i get every day.
i am glad that i am like rambus: debt free and positive cash flow. unlike rmbs i am a happy go-lucky beach and fishing guy.
my goal is always to have a nice day "today"...somehow i manage that.
i find short posts to be unbelievable. glad i choose not live like that.
it is true, i am a retired combat soldier.

i do not know enough about computers and drams to fill a thimble.
milehigh taught me how to scalp points...thanks mile!

make of this what you will...i believe i stumbled onto an awesome company. staffed by a bunch of young nuts who think they can change the world. i was looking for just this sort of thing. they have succeeded. by luck they dragged me and you along. relax and enjoy the ride.

don and milehigh hope you get back in soon. i would hate to see you miss it.
good luck trading,
unclewest
heading for more champagne.
