Hello Joe,

Because a rights issue is a relatively low cost financing alternative (that seeks to allow all shareholders to maintain their pro rata holdings) many issuers will not file in all provinces. This is another good reason to be irked at Canadian regulators, but not really a bad comment on Mond. Fortunately, for those whose rights are sold in the market (Trailmobile has offered to buy) you'll get a fair value, assuming the market is fair and rational. Thus to maintain your pro rata investment in Mond, simply buy shares in the market in an equivalent amount.

If you can't estimate this equivalency, you shouldn't own this stock.
