I agree they have to, but a good CEO is going to be hard to find much less FENOMINAL. Either they get lucky and find a rising star, or they are going to have to get one with an established record. These CEO candidates already have a lot of money, so what do you offer. I lived in Houston for a short while and the impression I got was that even if you had money, you would get no local prestige unless your daddy owned oil or a big cattle ranch. Someone with lots of opportunity is not going to want to play New Rich there when they can be important in their own right elsewhere.
