Cosmo, I don't think Rockwell is so very surprised by CNXT's success, at that. Recall it being said how the imbalances of the expenses of development and growing the new sales of CNXT were bothering the overall picture of the head Co. on the balance sheet along with it's other divisions. These big parent companies would be keeping the lions share of % share ownership to themselves, and continuing to do business together as well; after a spinoff. I think it was a great move on Rockwell's part for the sake of giving value to the shareowners, as well as for their own vaults, reckonings, and fields of concentration. The CNXT division was growing so fast it needed to go on its own, is what I recall being said at the time. I looked into DD on this one minutely, fascinated by all the space-age gizmos and corporate financial complexities of it. Rockwell made plenty of money on this spinoff, and should be continuing to do so. I'd say, we're not exactly in it on The Ground Floor like it was a small-cap stock...but in a way we are. Both these companies are still flying under the radar of many investors and traders; but recently CNXT especially is starting to get more and more attention. Especially with looks like it's about to beat earnings estimates & whispers.
Value's a big buzzword lately. And that bodes well for us.
