steve,

Throw another Wendell on your pile!......Very cool.

Check this out.......How does Verisign say that a digital certificate server should be protected?

Answer......(clipped from the Verisign website)

•Secure facilities, which are used to protect the certificate authorities' digital assets--computer and telecommunications systems, certificate signing units, data and the unique private signature key the CA uses to digitally sign (and therefore stand behind) each certificate. To assure customers that their digital assets are being guarded under the highest levels of security, secure facilities should provide multiple "tiers" through which individuals must pass. These security tiers could be enhanced by 24-hour guard, video monitoring, tamper-proof enclosures and security systems with biometric access controls. Additionally, a CA's facility should be accessible only to trusted employees whose jobs dictate their access to CA operations.
