OK, let me ask you this.

Is it legal to own a company that does securities investigations (Including investigations that include the SEC) and own a company that is an investor group at the same time?

Wouldn't one company benefit from the knowledge accumulated by the other?

If I was to start a securities investigative business and I attained the proper licenses and filed the proper forms, and if I was investigating, let's say, XYZ company, is the company required to turn over and divulge any information that I may declare relevant to the investigation?

Thank you,
