A company who treasures its own stock for company's stock option plan can be accounted as asset.

Not true. Repurchased stock held as treasury stock is never an asset, no matter what purpose it is held for. Conceptually, it is no different (except in its origin of course) from authorized but unissued stock, which is certainly not an asset.

With about 50,000 people in the US on Avonex, and well over 200,000 people in the US suffering from relapsing MS, Avonex is a long way from saturating the market. The company's stated goal of 100,000 people on the drug in a few years time seems quite reasonable to me.
