We got great BIG BANGS in the south. Especially being out there in the woods (speaking Oregonian) when the lightning would be striking all around the house, popping trees. You could feel the heat and electricity through the windows, mixed with the cold blow of the rain.

Here they pass quickly, or all have so far. Just enough to make you want to settle in with a book or close your eyes and listen and sense, then it's over. And the lightening doesn't get as close.
